Community Engagement:

The project has mobilized an impressive 80% community engagement. Villagers and local businesses have shown interest in using ecobricks, and community members actively participate in litter-picking days organized by The Andreas Projects, contributing to the removal of plastic from the environment

Expanding the Impact:

In addition to constructing ecobrick benches, we are expanding our efforts to build ecobrick walls. The Andreas Projects guest house will be the starting point for this initiative. Utilizing ecobricks as the primary component of walls will enable us to extract a significant volume of plastic from the environment.

Community Challenges and Impact:

Waste Disposal Issues: Lack of access to conventional waste disposal methods leads to plastic burning and littering, causing health and environmental problems.

Health and Environmental Impact: Burning plastic releases harmful toxins, impacting respiratory health. Soil pollution affects agricultural yields, impacting household incomes and livelihoods
